universe2go is an audio-visual guide to the sky.

The universe2go is available in two ways:

Star Mode Mode: This mode allows you to run universe2go without Astro Glasses. The functionality of this mode is limited.

2) Planetarium Mode: With the Astro Glasses attached to the universe2go you will be able to experience the starry sky in a novel way, benefiting from audio support and amplified reality technology.

How does it work?

Using Astro Sunglasses with RA technology (RA), you will discover the night sky and all of his stars AND at the same time you will see additional information about stars and constellations. A symbiosis between real sky, virtual graphics and text is thus created. universe2go will use your smartphone's sensors to generate the exact data exactly to the point you are looking at.

You may already be familiar with other stellar mapping applications that can do the same (and some of them claim to be equipped with amplified reality technology, but they can not do this because the smartphone's camera is unable to capture / render images with the sky night). The universe2go application is quite different !!!

1) universe2go is based on a special algorithm and heuristics for a very precise identification of the star you are looking at. (Do not hesitate to make a comparison with other existing apps!)

2) universe2go displays real-scale constellations as they appear in the sky (as opposed to other applications that display them at a reduced size which makes it hard for beginners to match the display on the screen).

3) universe2go is fun. The application offers an auto-activated zoom that allows you to see planets, nebulae, galaxies, satellites and many more on an incredible scale, with many images even in 3D format !!! This is very cool and fun at the same time.

universe2go offers you several ways so you can explore the night sky in a variety of ways:

1) Discover Mode: Explore all 88 official constellations. Notice the lines linking the corresponding stars and listen to the information describing that constellation.

2) Mythology: listen to stories about the constellations Greeks used to say in antiquity. In this way, you will learn a lot about the heroes of the past, about charming gods, beasts and princesses.

3) Deep-Sky mode: provides images (mostly captured by the Hubble Space Telescope) with planets, nebulae, stars, galaxies, comets and satellites that even the best telescope can not surprise. Most of them in 3D format, specially processed for the universe2go application.

4) Test Mode: test your knowledge of the night sky. Identify the constellation that the universe will show you.

universe2go contains over 3 hours of excellent audio quality information and hundreds of images specifically processed for this application. Contains the complete Hipparcos star list (120,000 stars) as well as the New General Catalog of Nebula and Starfish (7,000 items).

IMPORTANT: For Planetarium Mode, it is necessary to use the Astro Glasses attached to the universe2go application (the goggles are available at universe2go.com)
