About this app

* This application is for ROOTED Motorola Milestone 2 / Droid 2 / Droid Pro devices ONLY! *

Milestone 2 Debounce tries to reduce the hardware-keyboard bouncing (double key-presses) of Motorola Milestone 2/Droid 2/Droid Pro devices by changing timeouts in the kernel keyboard-driver. To do this, it has to load an included kernel module as root. The module will only work with kernel version 2.6.32.x compiled for mapphone (Motorola Android Platform Phone). It is compatible with all Froyo- and Gingerbread-kernels (and most kernels included in CyanogenMod-Roms for later Android-versions) on the Milestone 2.

If the installed ROM includes the module as /system/lib/modules/debounce.ko, this module is loaded instead of the bundled one (to support custom kernels).
