The app is not automatically sending updates to the traccar server. Only the first position update when red button is pushed.

I'm really sure that the app do it. But it depends on your settings how many times. So please check setting of the app. And if the problem still persists and if you want to fix it: send me the log of the app. We can try to fix it together.

This app adds odb2 data to the traccar server which is a great feature to have. The developer is very helpful if you have trouble getting things setup
