Calcul-Âge-Alcool

Applying Calculation Ages-Alcohol is a tool for sales and responsible service of alcohol. In Switzerland, the distilled liquor or considered as such (eg alcopops) is prohibited for people under 18 years of age. Any sale of alcohol is prohibited for people under 16 years (art. 50 of the Act, the inns and pubs for the Canton of Vaud).

This application aims to improve the tools available to players in the service and sale to immediately see dates below which the sale of alcohol is prohibited for persons under 18 and under 16 years.

An age calculator also allows you to enter the date of birth listed on the ID card and so see if the sale of alcohol is permitted and what type of drink.

The app also contains information pages allowing sellers and servers-its-its to learn about important aspects of their practices, including legislation, how to deal with aggressive behavior during a refusal to sell, youth protection, etc. Useful links are also used to redirect to other resources.

Warning :
The results are an indication. At the legal level, it is for server-his / her-sellers to respect the legal ages for the sale of alcohol. If in doubt about the age of a young, the waiter or waitresses / seller or the seller should ask for ID and refuse the sale if the young can not provide it or if it does has not the required age.
