After entering your AL County, this app presents you with a "𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗜 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧 (NOW)" screen with pictures that link to very simplistic growing info on various crops. It does not provide any concrete start and end dates for planting. It does not address when indoor seed starting would need to occur AT ALL. It does not let you look one or two or six months ahead to actually PLAN. It is a completely "Spur Of The Moment" guide to planting.

Thank you for your comments. A few days ago, we released a MAJOR update to the SOW app, which includes additional crops, manage multiple gardens and a journal function to keep track of previously harvested crops.

Very basic information. The only thing this app does is give you a list of what you can plant and when. Everything else is outdated with broken links.

Thank you for your comments. A few days ago, we released a MAJOR update to the SOW app, which includes additional crops, manage multiple gardens and a journal function to keep track of previously harvested crops.

What's new

This is a major app update. This new installation will overwrite garden data from the previous version of the app. To retain your current planted garden data, we recommend making notes of current crop names and planting dates and manually reentering the data after the update is installed.

This update includes planting data from the University of Kentucky, the ability to create multiple gardens, and a journal function to keep track of previously harvested crops, to name a few.
