I love the NestWatch program, and the new design of the app is much more intuitive. It also seems to run more smoothly on my phone. However, it starts up in dark mode each time, which is very hard to read while out in the field. I keep turning dark mode off, but it's back each time I reopen the app. I'd like to be able to set a preference for which mode it defaults to, instead of having to change it every time.

Just imputted my first report of the year; I installed the app after last year's nesting season concluded. Very easy to use - I suspect I might use this more than the website! I'll have to wait and see how it goes with adding Participant photos. Update - still a great and easy to use app, but the photos I took from the last few visits have not yet uploaded. That's my only complaint about it.

Hi Emilee, Thanks for the review. If you are uploading over a cellular connection, it may take some time depending on the speed and quality of your connection. Try restarting the upload from the photo's overview page. If you still experience issues after restarting the upload (using WiFi if possible), please contact us at NestWatch@cornell.edu

I like the idea but the app won't upload any photos. The top of the app constantly flashes "25 photo(s) uploading" but when I click on it, a window opens that says "0 photos". I can still see the photos in the nest attempt logs but I don't want to submit the nesting attempts if the photos won't send.
