About this app

Helga de Alvear (Kirn, Germany, 1936) was recognized in 2010 as one of the 100 most important and influential in the world of art in the famous list "Power 100". In the same year he opened on Visual Arts Center Foundation Helga de Alvear in Caceres, with the exhibition "Borders of silence", a selection of 115 works from the Helga de Alvear Collection.

The current exhibition, "Stories of material life", curated by Delfim Sardo, consists of a selection of 114 works from the collection, which we present in this sample application with the same technical specifications. Works by artists Angela de la Cruz, Bruce Nauman, Candida Höfer, Cristina Iglesias, Ernesto Neto, Fernanda Fragateiro, Gabriel Orozco, Gordon Matta-Clark, Hans-Peter Feldmann and Hélio Oiticica & Neville d'Almeida give the collection a great international prestige.
