About this app

Helga de Alvear (Kirn, Germany, 1936) was recognized in 2010 as one of the 100 most important and influential in the world of art in the famous list "Power 100". In the same year he opened on Visual Arts Center Foundation Helga de Alvear in Caceres, with the exhibition "Borders of silence", a selection of 115 works from the Helga de Alvear Collection.

This first sample in the Visual Arts Center Visual Arts Center Cáceres intended to convey the variety of crucial moments in the development of contemporary art that are in the collection, the uniqueness of works, ideas, processes and techniques that come together in the interest of the whole.

However, the current selection represents faithfully the evolution of Helga de Alvear interest, lines of affinity that has developed in the contrast of their experience in an environment that is necessary to remain continuously attentive.

This proposal will discuss works well in the space, including a triple colloquy related to the artistic experience of communication develop their potential.
