This is an educational app created by GoPhoton!, which is a European project by the European Centres for Outreach in Photonics (ECOP). This app, using your camera phone, allows you to measure your heart rate by analysing the changes in absorption of light by the blood as your heart beats. (Go Photon!).

It gets the job done, and it is tiny compared to the behemoth apps of today. However the readings fluctuate quite a bit. The first time I tried the app, my heart rate fluctuated between 93 and 101 within a span of a few seconds.

Works great! Very accurate with no ads! Also has your Fourier transform. Only request I have is to be able to store each reading to keep track of them.

It can't make up it's mind what my heart rate is. I measured it manually at around 96 after doing some stuff that got the blood pumping, while the app gave numbers that varied from as low as 46 to as high as 183, changing wildly every couple seconds while my actual heart rate was not doing so.
