I've been a monthly contribution for years, now that I listen online though my experience is impacted by the app. On Android this app just doesn't work very well. often it doesn't open at all. when it does it offend loses signal. each time this happens the ads have to play again. I'd blame my phone, but the wbur app works just fine. I now almost never listen to nepr, so may switch my donations to wbur as that's what I actually listen to. I'm sure the apple app gets the majority of the attention.

App has been problematic lately, became unusable today. Breaks play every 30 - 60 seconds to play sponsor messages. This while sitting 5' from wifi router. Other NPR apps play OK [WBGO,WGCU]. Meanwhile I've been been listening to WAIC 91.9 via Nextradio app via headphones 🎧 to get same programming. So it has to be a problem with the app. Running on Samsung Note 9.

Every time I get a notification, the app stops and I need to physically hit play to continue listening. This is an improvement since the last time I had this app installed, but still very annoying when trying to hear news or music.
