About this app

This app assumes the use of a terminal that supports Camera2 API.

You can take stars of the first magnitude and stars of the second magnitude or less in good condition.
--------------
This app artificially expands an exposure time more than ten seconds by technique of the multiple exposures to take picture of dark starry sky brightly.
The only things you have to do to photograph starry sky are

(1) fix a smartphone with tripods etc. and aim it at starry sky,
(2) tap a "star" icon,
(3) press the shutter of the app and wait for around one minute.

In "Star 1", the brightness of the star in the dark night sky is highlighted by selecting the brightest pixel for each pixel in the continuous shooting image.
"Star 2" raises the tone of brightness according to the number of continuous shots and makes it brighter.
"Star 3" adds the brightness of each pixel of the continuous shooting image and makes it very bright.
Even with the same number of exposures, it will be brightly composed with
star 1 However, be careful because the brightness of "star 3" is easily saturated.
It is recommended that you can take a clear picture of "star 1".

It has HDR(high dynamic range) function for daytime photographs.
You can use more than 40 kinds of filters which make various effects to the photographs.
You become able to use all functions by purchasing a paid version.

Barely works, only in burst mode. If i try to photo night sky, after pressing the shutter I see message "bulb mode". And what I have to do now to actually take the picture? To press once more and hold it for a minute? Total mess. To tap shutter? To tap once, wait for a minute and to tap second time? I did all of that, but not a single photo was taken. Somehow camera works in burst mode, bu this is too little to make it valuable. Please, explain more clearly how to take a picture...

Tap the star icon or bulb icon to set the shooting mode. (At this time, a message explaining the shooting mode will be displayed.) After that, press the red shutter button to start shooting. Try adjusting the number of bursts to a few tens.

This should be a five star app, But (Some models might not be able to set adequate exposure level) Please provide option in this app to enable camera 2 API, all phones with Android 9 and above have full or partial support for camera 2 Api, now some models come with it already enabled, while some don't, in my case, my phone's doesn't, and needs option in camera apps to enable it, with it enabled my phone can support real shutterspeed of up to 1/2 and manual ISO setting of upto ISO 25600, pls fix

For Android 10 or later, the app stores it in the following path. /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/jp.cariya.android.StarrySky/files/Pictures/ To increase the resolution, change the resolution on the setting screen. High resolution options may be hidden above.

Very good concept but needs more work. The shutter speed time needs to increase more to match the camera hardware, it's now only 1/8sec. More time can allow more light to capture not only faint stars but also milky way.
