The audio code "Uni-Voice" is a two-dimensional bar code developed by JAVIS (Japan Association For the Visually-Impaired Information Support) that can record up to approximately 800 characters for reading on mobile telephones.
You can display and save text data imported by capturing Uni-Voice audio codes with a camera.
Audio, text, movies, multilingual translation information are distributed via Raku-Raku-phone Basic 3 (NTT DOCOMO), KantanKeitai (au), smartphones (iPhone, Android), etc.
The audio code Uni-Voice was first used in April 2012 with the personal information form in the 'Regular Pension Mailer.' Furthermore, it has been introduced into the Hospital Medical Management System and the Pharmacy Receipt Computer System through the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's Medical Dept. 5 section manager notifications. Future ties with Government Welfare services are presumed to develop.
Uni-Voice will be distributed to a wide variety of areas, following the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act in 2016 and as a foundation universal design technology for "Omotenashi (hospitality)" for the Inbound Travel Promotion Project (Visit Japan Project).
○Operation Verification Models Android 4.0.4 or later. Samsung Galaxy S3 or later. Operation may be available for other terminals.
*If the text audio does not play, verify whether the auto text reading function is set to ON or not.
