o What is digital OTP?
This is a joint service between financial institutions that provides authentication numbers that can be used in financial transactions.

o To use the service, download the app and visit the financial institution branch of your choice to receive a digital OTP [registration].

o Registration method is as follows.

[Face-to-face registration]
1. Visit a financial institution branch
2. Request ‘digital OTP registration’ from branch staff
3. When a branch employee requests a registration code, present the registration code (5 digits) received via SMS text to the employee.
4. Receive digital OTP installation instructions and app registration code from branch staff
5. Install and run the digital OTP app and enter the app registration code to complete the issuance.

[Non-face-to-face registration]
1. Non-face-to-face real name verification and app registration code receipt through financial institution non-face-to-face real name verification app, etc.
2. Install and run the digital OTP app and enter the app registration code to complete the issuance.
※ Detailed non-face-to-face registration procedures may vary by financial institution.

o Please remember
- Only available to individual customers.
- Each person can use only one app on one smartphone.
- To use it, you must complete [registration] at a financial institution.
- If your mobile phone number or smartphone changes, you must re-register at your financial institution.
- Use will be restricted if there are multiple errors in the app password or authentication number.
- Authentication numbers are not required except for financial institution internet banking and banking apps.
- If your smartphone is lost or stolen, please report it to a financial institution branch or customer service center.
