Vistalgy® Sudoku

They ruined this game with ads. You now have to "earn credits" to play by watching an ad. The problem with that is that you're only given one credit each time which means every time you want to start a new game you have to watch an ad. The feature itself is very buggy and sometimes it will claim there are no ads to watch basically rendering this app unusable. I think it's made bad intentionally to pressure users to buy a subscription. Very scummy

I did originally give this 5 stars. This was when the ads were very rare to come across, excluding when they were at the bottom of the screen and out of the way. This app was a delight in a sea of mobile game aps that have you watching ads every few seconds. This is no longer the case. Now you need to watch an ad to start a new game. Most of the time, this function does not work; having you watching multiple ads before it works as promised. Frankly, it's sad.

Don't get me wrong, I'm well into sudoku, but this app just doesn't do enough... You need a HUGE screen to do anything other than the standard 9x9 sudoku. You might as well cast it to a 72in tv just so you can read the puzzle for anything other than standard. There is no zoom, making things a lot harder to read if you're on a standard smartphone screen. This might be better for a tablet, but I can't confirm this. Had it for years but unfortunately, I have to get rid of it due to worsening vision
