About this app

This draws 40,000 stars (complete up to magnitude 8) with fairly realistic brightness simulation, and lets you rotate and zoom. It's not a useful astronomy program--nothing is labeled, there are no planets or deep-space objects, and the horizon is not shown--but it can be relaxing to zoom among the stars and try to identify constellations. I made this while trying to figure out how to best render stars, as part of my work on a much more serious (and still free) astronomy app. If you don't enjoy it, just delete it. If you find a bug, let me know.

Better than a lot of other Android astronomy apps. As is, this could make a nice live wallpaper. Looking forward to the "real" app.

Very immersive experience, can't fault it considering the small app footprint
