CBO Oficial

Founded in 1941, the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (CBO) is the main representative body of ophthalmologists in Brazil. Its foundations include the teaching of ophthalmology, the scientific and ethical improvement and the defense of the professional prerogatives of ophthalmologists.

Together with the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB), it grants the Specialist Degree in Ophthalmology to physicians approved in the traditional National Examination of Ophthalmology, one of the most popular exams in the country.

Currently, there are 101 Specialization Courses in Ophthalmology accredited by the entity.

It organizes every year the Brazilian Congress of Ophthalmology, event considered the second largest in Ophthalmology worldwide. In this application, the CBO provides the colleague with the most modern digital tools to expand his experience in the 63rd Brazilian Congress of Ophthalmology.
