After reading all these terrible reviews, I had very low expectations, but actually the app worked perfectly. Over five days traveling around Mestre and Venice, three of us bought dozens of single tickets for bus and boat, and the app never let us down. Yes, poor translation is disorientating at first, but once you know that "navigation" means vaporetto tickets and "automotive" means bus/tram tickets, usage becomes much clearer. At least it was 100% reliable (for us as one iPhone and two Android users), far quicker than standing in line for a ticket every time and far more economical than paying for day passes just to avoid all the ticket queues. We could all receive the verification SMS without issues via our various non-Italian phone numbers.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, maybe the app did have some serious issues which have been fixed recently? It worked fine for me, I was able to create an account, validate my phone number and buy tickets. Navigation in the app can be slightly confusing sometimes and some of the English translations are a bit weird, but overall it worked and was quite useful during my trip to Venice.

The App itself is not that bad. But the ticket system the app is to be for is broken. With the app we had trouble adding a payment method when internet is shaky. You really need a credit card, no PayPal or anything else supported. Worst thing we're the scanners to scan the 2d bar code. It's not clear that you have to insert the whole phone. In many cases, the Scanner didn't recognize the code. We paid money for the ticket and had trouble getting on board. Sad condition.
