About this app

Street Support makes it easier to find local services to support people who are homeless, and to know what you can do to help.

You can find services from over 600 organisations, based on your location and specific needs. You can also find out how to help based on what these organisations need - items, time or money.

Street Support is currently available across Greater Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Bradford, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Southampton and Portsmouth. If you would like Street Support to connect organisations and co-produce long-lasting solutions in your area, please contact us at: info@streetsupport.net.

We also have more features in development, all being co-designed alongside people who have experienced homelessness.

Many thanks to Holy Name Church in Manchester for sponsoring the development of this App!

Great app. Three of my friends and myself have been housed in supported housing with the long term objective being eligible for a council or housing association property.

It's a good idea but although I have changed the location to my local area a lot of the information is geared towards Manchester. Also the winter beds have not been added to this. Hopefully this will be more up to date and area relevant for next year.

Apologies for the belated reply! We have brought app development in-house, so expect updates to come very soon.

Brilliant app with grounded information. Dear developer, care to share the source so we can help others create for their towns and cities?

Apologies for the belated reply! we accept PRs: https://github.com/StreetSupport. We are not in a position to fully open source the system, but it is certainly the long-term goal! If you would like Street Support to help connect orgs and help foster co-production in your area, please contact gary@streetsupport.net.
