About this app

Image Optimizer optimizes allows you to save space on your smartphone by optimizing your image files.

Image Optimizer supports two optimization techniques, you have the choice:

★ compress your photos to save a big amount of space with a slight, often unnoticeable quality loss
★ just optimize your picture while retaining the original quality

If you have questions, bugs, suggestions, please contact me by mail, don't use the market comment as It's impossible for me to reply and help you!

Both JPEG and PNG files are supported!

Notes:
★ some devices with few space already compress images with an high ratio, so it's normal to save a few bytes or nothing at all, since Image Optimizer will never save a new image bigger than the original!
★ EXIF tags are always preserved, so you will not lose creation date, location, rotation

This is one of my favorite apps. It allows large photo files to be less dense thus allowing less space to be used. great support also.

Really silly that it doesn't recognise JPEGs with the .jpeg extension (only .jpg).

Will there ever be an update to this app? It desperately needs the ability to read and write to an external memory card
