The app was working great until... it had started to act weird. This was my second trip recorded to the Uintah mountains, and the app had not tracked my rides. Yes, there isn't any signal up in the mountains, but out in the open, I have terrific signal strength. I had originally marked this app 5 stars, but then I had downgraded my stars to 4. Today, I lowered my rating down to two stars. After the app update, the apps performance had become disappointing at best.

I waited for the update as requested and still can not connect the app. Same scenario as below. I can play music, get text and phone call alerts but the Ride Command app continues to say no bike found. The app is easy to navigate and very user friendly. It will not sync to my phone and bike no matter how many times I pair them. I can hear music and get text so I know they are connected but the app doesn't see it. I have a 2018 Chieftain Dark horse and a Samsung Galaxy S10+.

I am sorry that there is still an issue. The bike's display firmware may be out of date, you can check at ridecommand.indianmotorcycle.com. Also, try connecting to the bike with Bluetooth before opening the app, this has worked for a number of users. Please reach out to us at ridecommand-support@polaris.com for more support.

Seriously Polaris, The reviews are pretty spot on. #1 - You need to fix the app so the tethering is not required, Bluetooth is all you need to transfer this little bit of data to the unit. I can stream music via bluetooth, you can fix it to not need this. #2 - Even when the mode is enabled it half the time never syncs or updates the bike data. You need to add a refresh swipe to force data updates. #3 - The sync or push to bike is failing. I get an error that my bike is connected but sync to the display failed. Nobody can tell me why. #4 - The garage that has an Indian motorcycle says that all the data is managed in the polaris ride command, why do I need to also have the Polaris RC app to see my INDIAN motorcycle?
