About this app

Avoid the device to loss the GPS signal, and spend many seconds waiting for a new GPS lock.

This app will only require your GPS to turn on, and will leave it on until you request it to unlock the GPS.

GPS got really unreliable out of nowhere and I use it for work all the time. Tried updating rom, downgrading, clearing caches, reinstalling relevant apps, nothing worked. Really didn't want to go through a factory reset, had no idea if it would help anyway. Found this after a Google search, as long as it's active all is well now. Couldn't be happier.

Simple, no fuss and easy to use. Works great to keep GPS active while the screen is off when you are using apps that require constant tracking. Overcomes the problem of aggressive battery saving settings in recent Android versions while still allowing you to easily return to standard settings at the click of a button when you no longer need constant GPS.

Does the job. Was having endless problems with GPS. Seems absolutely absurd that rather than using most recent location data, android defaults to data from 2 weeks back so Apps I regularly use were defaulting to locations I no longer was. Spoofing location got round the problem for a while but eventually no longer worked. This is a sledgehammer but it works. It is fairly battery intensive but that is the nature of the app and to have decent location accuracy I can live with that
