The Daily Readings app offers an easy way to access the day's Scripture readings, saints, and fasting guidelines as prescribed by the Lectionary of the Greek Orthodox Church. Now there are even more features to enhance your experience:
Content:
* View the fasting guidelines, readings, and saints of the day.
* Search for your favorite saint or feast any time during the year.
* Quickly look up movable feasts based on the date of Pascha.
* Lookup definitions of Orthodox words.
* Read a selection of Orthodox Prayers.
* Timely prayers help you pray throughout the day.
Usability:
* Settings to allow viewing both the content and the interface in multiple languages. Currently, it is available in English, Greek, and Arabic, but we hope to add more soon.
* Font size and face options for readings.

Great way to keep on top of daily readings! I have some requests though: PLEASE add dark mode support! The Windows Phone version had it and I miss it. It's also difficult to use in a low bandwidth setting. It can take almost a minute to start sometimes due to data usage. It would be great to reduce the amount transferred, and to support caching the next day overnight for offline use. Sometimes it even seems to reload just hitting the back button from a reading to main screen. Thank you!

Super thankful for the app! The ability to switch between light/dark/automatic display modes would be great. The old widget was pretty bad design-wise, but I would love to have a new minimalist one. Even better if you could choose what you'd like displayed on the widget [fasting, daily readings (choice for text or a button to open the reading in-app), feasts of the day, and even a prayer for the time of day].

Excellent app, even if you are not Greek Orthodox. I'm Lutheran and I find that many of the prayers are prayers that I too can affirm and pray and they are very well written too. It's good for Christians to find and embrace the common ground we share with other denominations.
