All you get is the terms of conditions to use the app. Pop up. Then it closes the app, and you sign in again and get the same thing. Called 5 times, and PenFed gives you a case number that they never follow up on or resolve or work on or contact you. When you call, they tell you to just use the website. Duh. What's the point of having the app, and then besides, you can't make mobile deposits. I'm thinking of dropping this bank. They obviously don't care.

This app is trash. I set up auto payments and did okay for a few months then suddenly stopped without warning or alerts. Now I'm being charged late fees and it won't allow me to make a payment. It cycles back to the login screen when I click make a payment. No customer support has contacted me after several attempts to contact them about this issue (edit) happening again x4 3.11.2024

It works for basic features like checking my account balance. I can even view old credit card transactions now! Everything else is clearly neglected. Loading data (esp. anything in a hosted web view) is *slow*. Maybe every request has to reauthenticate, but that's terrible and should be fixed. Bill Pay is a problem: - They changed the amount field from number input to generic text input. - Pending payments don't reliably load. - Pending payments don't have a "recurring" indicator any more.
