About this app

Companion App to passwordcard.org website. Doesn't use Internet connection; scan QR code from site!

Generates a credit-card sized card with random letters and numbers for you, letting you pick secure passwords and remember them safely. You only have to remember a colour and a symbol (e.g. "red star" or "yellow umbrella").

Note that we are aware that the app does not work correctly on some Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) devices. We're working on finding out why that is. If this happens to you, please mail us the details of your phone and Android version at pwcardapp@pepsoft.org.

It's an old app but the idea was pretty good. On newer versions of Android though you cannot access the menu to update the key used to generate the card and it has limited usefulness as a result.

Love the Web version but the app has no functionality at all. Just a screenshot of a 'card' with no option to input your own card number, or indeed do anything else. Sorry, its a 1 for me.

With Android 10 and Samsung UI 2.0 the hamburger menu is no longer available and the app can no longer be configured. :-(
