About this app

The Spektrum Dashboard mobile application allows drivers to view everything from speed, motor or engine temperature, battery voltage and more. And now with Spektrum Smart Technology integration, it is easier than ever before to get valuable telemetry data, right at your fingertips, with no additional wires or sensors.

Simply install the Spektrum Bluetooth module with your Spektrum DX3 Smart or DX2E Active transmitter and view real-time telemetry data like never before. You can also manage individual settings for RPM, temp, rx voltage and more with the options of setting alarms to indicate low voltage, high motor temperature, RPM limits and more.

On top of our innovative telemetry dashboard, drivers can make even more indepth and fine adjustments to servo settings, such as travel, sub trims and auxiliary switch settings, right from the Dashboard app! Making it possible to fine tune your vehicle to your liking easy and hassle free.

Want to share your speed run with your friends? Use our Social media integration! Post a screen shot of your fastest run straight to your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account right to your accounts with the simple touch of a button.

Installation tip:
Upon initial pairing with the installed Spektrum Bluetooth module, the application will update the transmitter firmware which enables the transmitter to receive telemetry data from the onboard telemetry receiver or telemetry module. Please do not close the application or power off the transmitter during the update process. The Dashboard application will not function until the transmitter is updated.

Note: In order to fully utilize the Spektrum Dashboard application, you must own the following items;
- A Dashboard Compatible Transmitter; Currently only the Spektrum DX2e Active or the DX3 Smart support the Spektrum Dashboard app
- A Bluetooth Module (Part # SPM6741 for DX2e Active and SPMBT2000 with DX3 Smart)
- Smart Capable Receiver with Spektrum Smart Firma ESC and Spektrum Smart Battery
- OR a Spektrum DSMR telemetry equipped receiver or TM1500 telemetry module (SPM6742)
- We also recommend using or phone mounts for your DX3 Smart (SPM9070) or DX2e Active (SPM6745)
- Get even more accurate speed data with our waterproof and dust resistant GPS sensor (SPM95870) (Xbus port equipped receiver is required)

You can find all these items at your local Spektrum retailer or at HorizonHobby.com.

Luckily I have a older Samsung Galaxy S7 that it works on. I tried this on all my newer phones. It will not connect via bluetooth. Shows that it is connected in the app, but get error messages saying connection failed. So my advice, try out some of your older phones. My old Samsung Galaxy S7 is now dedicated to my ARRMA Kraton 8s BLX 4x4. I still have issues from time to time. But I would say 90% of the time it works great. There should be more updated support for this product and app.

Just got My BJ42 and bought the module installed. It and it updated firmware. Doesn't connect all the time, won't allow social. FB or Twitter and when selecting Ig it allows and records. However when you try and view the footage or share it. It crashes the app and deletes the saved footage. Also its not keeping saved name , vehicle, or other functions. The only thing It will do is show you on screen in real time. Which you Can't watch while driving. Only proof screen shot

Doesn't work for me on a Pixel2 XL. Connects to Bluetooth module via Android 9, but app doesn't see it. App doesn't see it while in Bluetooth Discovery mode on the phone either. Have to delete the device and re-discover it after each phone to module connection time-out. App never sees the connection or device in descovery no matter what. No indication it sees telemetry receiver either. Although both my telemetry receiver and SCS6000 AVC receiver are bound to my DX2E transmitter. App sees zip. Z-
