Mobile application "Forest District Gdańsk" presents the natural values ​​of the Tri-City area, attractions and tourist infrastructure of the region. To help you locate places of interest, the base object has been divided into categories, which include, among others, the most interesting monuments, natural monuments, forester, resting points and camping and catering facilities. Individual points include GPS coordinates, some also included an audio guide. The application further includes a proposal ready trips: bike trails, hiking, Nordic walking and horse riding. The full database of points and routes can be viewed on the map. From the map, you can also go to the details of the selected object.

With an extensive navigation function mobile guide allows to determine the route between any two points, being beyond the reach of the Internet. Primers OpenStreetMap offline are available in two versions: basic and Hike & Bike, which are marked with smaller forest paths and mid-field.

Mobile Guide fully moreover, the role of communicator between the tourists and the services of the Forestry Commission - the user can apply eg. An illegal garbage dump and is informed about the most important events in the area. An interesting feature is the ability to record your own route and send it to the site.

It is worth remembering that not all forests surrounding the Tricity are on the board of the Forest District Gdańsk.
