Barcelos Mobile

The Municipality of Barcelos offers this mobile application for disclosure of the calendar of events, news and points of interest. It also allows the consultation of the PDM (municipal master plan).

Supported in information technology, the Municipality of Barcelos has guided the tightening of services, transparency, efficiency and accessibility to all.

The "Mobile Barcelos' is a mobile application that provides information relating to future events and cultural context of content, educational, sports, children and festivities on geo-referenced manner. Interactivity, dynamism and ease of use of the application were highly valued aspects in the development of this project.

The application is based on the agenda Barcelos site that allows institutions / county associations have sign up and, from there, "have access to the site, thus being able to put the activities that are promoting, in the short and medium term," said Carlos Brito, councilor with responsibility for Management and Administrative Modernization of the Municipality of Barcelos.
