About this app

Trueshot Swing Tempo records and analyses golf swings at the driving range using an Android WearOS smartwatch or a Trueshot wristband.
The application targets both competitive amateurs and golf professionals with knowledge of biomechanics that would like to analyse motion sensor data at the golfer's wrist produced during a swing.
The application works with an Android Wear OS Smartwatch (such as Huawei Watch2, Ticwatch Pro, LG Watch, Sony SmartWatch 3 and Moto 360) or with Trueshot wristband (requires ordering).
The application include the following features:
- Record swings (up to 125 samples/second)
- Recognize full-swing, pitching and putting (both right and left-handed golfers)
- Determine rotational speed, backswing and downswing timings (swing tempo) and smoothness
- Make a rough estimation club head speed (mph or km/h) and putting distance (ft or meters)
- Compare your swing measurements with results from scratch players
- Export sensor data to MS Excel for swing path analysis
- View user's recording activity and statistics

This app has worked well with my Sony SW3 for years. Now it does not connect to my watch anymore. It has now been over a year since this app has worked. Even with the new update it is still useless. Very poor show.

We apologize for any issue but no change was done recently. Nonetheless we retested the Swing Tempo with SW3 and the latest Android 10 and it worked just fine (check here the testing pics https://www.bluecover.pt/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/retest-swingtempo-android10.jpg).

Let me get this straight. Your product doesn't support Android watch devices yet under "Choose your training device type," there's a button that reads "Search Smartwatch".....UNDER THE ANDROID SMARTWATCH tab. What the hell is going on with this app? Is it compatible with Android or not? Edit: I wear a Galaxy Watch.

We only support our wristband and WearOS watches (formally named Android Wear, that is why the tab is called Android Smartwatch, but we may rename it to avoid misunderstandings). We do NOT support Samsung Galaxy, Fitbit or Xiaomi Watches as they use their own OS.

Doesn't detect my smart watch. Have just paid for this and it doesn't support my galaxy gear s3, can you please tell me if an update is imminent for this?

Swing Tempo only supports our own wristband (optimized accuracy for golfing) and WearOS watches (compatible with dozens of devices). We do NOT support Samsung gear S3. Although the extension seems possible, we are not sure of how open and flexible is dev environment from Samsung. You have a couple of days to request reimbursement.
