Petable is a mobile app created by a team of veterinarians to help pet owners keep track of their pet’s health and well-being.
We know what your pets need and we created a platform that focuses on preventive medicine, with reminders and info so that you can keep up-to-date on a daily basis.
On Petable you have access to:
- A Pet Profile for each one of your pets, including all species, not just cats and dogs.
- Reminders for every event in your pet’s life: vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatments, vet appointments and more.
- A Timeline of your pets’ life where you will have the date of every event you add on the App.
- Connection to your vet clinic through our app. You can select different clinics for different pets. If you can’t find it, let us know and we will add them to our network.
- A Newsfeed where you can find relevant information and content about pet health, behavior, nutrition and much more.

This is overall a handy app for tracking basic info about my 2 pets. It helps me keep track of when they last had their flea prevention, vet visits, and track their weight. Track weight is a bit glitchy, usually saving as the previous weight (rather than the entered value) so you then have to edit til it saves correctly. You get points for entries to supposedly use towards donation to shelters, but only after each receives a certain # of points (& the feature seems to have been recently wiped)

This has great potential to but has a several problems. I've seen the same problems in reviews from 2-5 years ago. I changed the units from kg to pounds, but when I try to track weight, it still shows kg. When I try to track food, half of the options are written in Portuguese, with no option to change it. Most importantly, I wish there was an option to set reminders, such as medications, food, and litter cleaning (which wouldn't need to go in the timeline as they're not events).

I found it very confusing, unreliable and not working right. It should simplify things, but does the opposite. I stopped using it for some time. When I get back to it, had plenty of overdue tasks. I tried to set them up again, but all the events seemed to be messed up. I set up new ones, but couldn't set the repeats. After getting reminders for deworming, I had removed earlier, I decided to uninstall it and set up reminders in my default to-do app. Waste of time.
