Of all similar apps, I think this one is the best. It provides lots of levels of difficulty. It is easy to use. The words on the buttons and the notes on the staff are large, making it easy to see them. The screens are not cluttered with additional information - just the basics which are needed to use the app. A lot of apps provide only a piano sound, which is a percussive sound. To clearly hear the pitch of each note, I prefer using a non-percussive sound, and two (apart from the piano sound) can be selected in this app, i.e. violin and French horn. (Initially, I did experience a problem with some notes not sounding. But, when I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, it worked as expected).

It doesn't seem to do much. It generates a random tune and then plays it. I expected it to assess my ability to sing the tune. And I expected some progression of levels. It doesn't seem to do anything related to singing.

Prima Vista is unique! I learned to sight-sing (voice as the instrument) applying this lithe yet challenging app. I'm now using it to refine moderate-more advanced rhythm/pitch interpretation and production skills.
