We are bridging the gap between the hearing and the non-hearing community. The voice to text features capture the voice and translate it into text. The text to speech features enables deaf people to share their messages.

The "Shortcuts" feature has ready-made buttons with text and voice. You can add the most used sentences as buttons with text and voice, so you don't have to write or speak every time. These shortcuts can be handy in different scenarios.

Pictograms feature is designed for illiterate people. It helps them to talk through pictures. This app allows deaf people to communicate.

This is a community app. We are the voice of the deaf community. Send us your stories, and they will be shared with over one million users.

Note. New updates are coming soon (ASL Jokes, Wallpapers, Quizzes, Games). Download the ASL app now.

App is an awful, disorganized mess. I can't even tell what it's supposed to do. I gave up in frustration. I was in one section that said tap on the mic and speak. Well the mic couldn't be activated. No permissions were requested so I don't know if it has to do with the app needs permission to my microphone. At any rate anything created this disorganized and messy isn't worth it.

To be honest, its kind of frustrating to learn from some one who decides if she wants to talk in her videos or not. She has no side profile either so its kind 0f difficult to see some of her signs, and her angle on some makes it very difficult to see what it is she's doing, I have multiple apps to help me, just because of these issues. These would be some things I would change to help be a better app. And possibly sentence structure instead of just singular words.

I just started using this and I already have started downloading a different app. The videos I saw, the instructor was standing to far away with the video camera set on the floor? So the height was off - paired with the distance - and made it hard to see some hand movements. I feel it would be better quality to have the instructor sitting at a table with the camera level. Other than that it seems informational. Unfortunately just not the app for me.
