The Holy Bible - Ave Maria (popularly known as the Ave Maria Bible) is a version of the Christian Bible published by Editora Ave Maria in 1959, translated from Greek and Hebrew by Benedictine monks from Maredsous (Belgium). It was considered one of the best translations in the world at the time and in its first edition it had a circulation of 42,000 copies. It is the most popular translation among Catholics in Brazil.
