About this app

This free app provides live waiting and travel times for NHS services providing urgent care across Devon and Cornwall (South West). NHSquicker provides information about the healthcare services available to you based on your location, helping you to choose the right service and spend less time waiting.

The combined travel and waiting times estimate how long it will take you to be seen by each service. Our emergency departments are busy, and often for a minor injury, you could be seen quicker elsewhere. Please remember to always ring 999 in a life-threatening emergency.

You can find information about minor injuries units, emergency departments, pharmacies, dentists, opticians, sexual health and GP surgeries).

If you are not sure where to go, you can dial 111 and they will direct you to the most appropriate place for your needs.

The information feed is provided by Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT), Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT), Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E), South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT), Torbay & South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (TSDFT), and other Trusts,

Wow, what a useless app! The closest A&E you could find was 180 miles away when there are 3 within 10 miles of my house.

Hello, the app is for Devon, Cornwall or Somerset (as advertised). If you are in the South West, then please enable location services. You can also use the desktop version of the app (https://nhsquicker.co.uk/app/) and enter your postcode. Hope this helps.

Really nice app, very clear and looks great. Really handy to see what my best chances of being seen to at A&E in a reasonable amount of time!

Sorry for this inconvenience. We launched the new version (NHSquicker 3) last week and we are aware that some live times are not being shown. We are in contact with the Trusts to rectify this. It would help if you could email health.impact.network@gmail.com with your postcode and the name of the A&E/MIUs not displaying live times. Thank you.
