There is no way to stop playback from the app, I had to use force stop. It's possible that you can use the headphone remote but honestly, I uninstalled it before I could try that, mainly because of the following scenario that made me realise this app is absolute tripe: I had been listening to a show, and decided to return a phone call. Since I had my headset on, I went to the dialer and and made the call. Every other media playback app I have used will mute itself respectfully when the user of the phone is on a call. That after all is the sensible thing to do for an app, the guest on a host device - a phone, who''s purpose in life is to allow users communicate. But not this piece of absolute garbage. No this app decided to keep playing, and send the podcast down the phone to my caller. To add insult to injury, I went to the app, and found there was no stop button. As I'm using android kit kat, I was left with having to locate the app in the settings app, so I could then force quit the app, all whilst trying to placate the person I was calling, DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. If the app author is reading this, take it off the store. You should be ashamed of yourself

It doesn't let you go back through the entire library of episodes. It only offers the "podcast" published episodes, which is like ten or twenty back. I want the website's ability to choose ANY OLD EPISODE no matter how old (if the website offered bookmarking where you left off, there would be no need for any app). Without this feature, this app offers nothing that Pocketcasts already doesn't do better. But to be fair, this app is very smooth and well made. Five stars once ALL episodes become choosable

It doesn't even show the shows I've downloaded. It freezes every single time and I have to force stop the app then it works for a couple minutes then freezes again. The UI is awful. The shows are not organized efficiently. The best that worked flawlessly was 'Twit Pro" but unfortunately is no longer supported, forcing me to search for an alternative. I thought this app was a good alternative but it is very badly designed with too many issues. So Uninstalling! BTW I'm using the latest android on a LG-G4.
