Description
VB-AUDIO Software / VBAN-Receptor allows listening to any VBAN Streams in any audio formats (1 to 8 channels) and transform your mobile device in High Quality Wireless Headphone. The integrated 3 bands vintage EQ and Analog Gain Control will give you a unique audio experience.
VBAN protocol is made to transport native audio in PCM format on any local network (LAN or WLAN).
VBAN Stream can be generated by Voicemeeter Application, the Virtual Audio Device Mixer (www.voicemeeter.com)
Additional Features:
- Play / Stop Streaming.
- Mono / Mute button.
- Mix Down Mode to listen 5.1 or 7.1 stream.
- -60 to +12 dB Master Gain.
- 3 Bands Equalizer (Bass, Medium, Treble).
Other functions in menu:
- Display mobile device IP-Address.
- Setup VBAN Protocol UDP port.
- Setup Network Quality (to optimize latency).
- Delay (0 - 500ms) to synchronize several devices.

Software works great, very thankful for this! For some reason, though, it drains my battery like crazy. If I turn on battery restriction, the app won't play audio when the software loses focus so I leave battery restriction disabled. If I close the software, it'll still drain the battery while the audio seems to stop indicating the software has closed. Not sure what to do, it takes up all my battery. I would get like 4 or 5 days on a charge, now I barely get one.

In the past it seemed like it would run in to errors every 30 min. However recently, I put the app in that mode where it is kept open turn quick launching, opened it, then locked my phone. I left it running for 6hrs and it only used 20% battery. When I woke my computer up (running VBAN) and played audio it worked great! Thank you for your continued improvement and support with the app!

The app works great, the audio quality was fantastic. I was listening to game audio from my pc while streaming Pandora on my phone and honestly couldn't tell which audio source sounded better. This last update sounds good still but now there is at least an 800-1000ms delay between the vban sending PC and the vban receptor. I made sure my audio sample was a simple 44k and also set the buffer to 1024 samples. I also streamed 16 bit instead of 24 bit but it didn't make a difference in the delay.

The main parameter to change the delay is in the receptor menu -> Network Quality must be set to FAST or OPTIMAL... On Voicemeeter side, you get the best latency if you main stream buffer size is 256 or 512 sample (output A1).
