About this app

The PPS for Professionals App offers a secure, convenient way to access all your PPS information from your mobile device – at any time, wherever you are. You can view your full PPS portfolio including investments, insurance and medical aid – as well as your profit which has accrued in your PPS Profit-Share Account. With the Invest Now functionality, you’re able to place new investments, top up existing investments, switch or make withdrawals, and in-app notifications keep you updated on the progress of your investment transactions. Daily tracking of investment financial indicators and access to key documents like tax certificates are added benefits.

Interested? Simply download the app, register your phone on either PPS Secure Online Services at https://ppsportal.pps.co.za/ or PPS PRO-FiT at https://profit.pps.co.za/ and you’re good to go. To login, use the same username and password as you would for the PPS Investments Secure Online Services or PPS PRO-FiT.

This is the worst app I have ever had the misfortune of using. The UX is horrific. Can not log in after jumping through hoops for an hour. You are showing that you are falling behind wrt technology. Do I really want to keep my money in a company that cant put together a simple app??

The app does not log me in anymore. Even on their site I cannot log in and attempting to do a forgot password/username errors out as well and display debug information (a no-no for any system). If this is the state of their user experience, I do not have a lot of faith in their core systems.

I often get a network error message when using the app, or it tells me that my sign-on credentials are incorrect.. In July 2022, there was a message on the app saying that a new app was coming in August 2022 Still waiting for that... Considering who the target market is (qualified professionals), one would think that PPS would have ensured that the app is of the highest quality.
