Protea Metering (Pty) Ltd is not just a ‘Meter Reading Company’ but rather offers a service of complete Utility Management to our clients in terms of electricity, water, sewerage and gas. Our core focus is on the billing and collection of these utilities. We've developed this application to allow users access to their account information on the go.

The application allows post-paid or conventional clients to download their latest invoice, view account statements, view water and electricity usage graphically as well as any amounts payable. Clients with prepaid meters can view their recent tokens and purchase electricity (T&Cs apply). The SmartProtea App is also integrated with the Online Advanced Metering Infrastructure (OAMI) system which provides a similar experience as the OAMI website on your phone.
