With this app you can easily organize your Secret Santa. It's easy to use:
- create a group with all the necessary information: place and date of the meeting, the maximum value of the gift and if you want to only exchange second hand gifts
- share the group with your friends via a link or the group code (they have to download this app to join the group)
- after all the members have joined, the group creator can have the secret santa partner assignments be determined
- everyone sees only the person assigned to him or her
- if someone is not satisfied with the partner assigned to him, he can announce this and the group leader can redistribute the assignments if necessary
- communicate gift wishes and details of your secret santa event via the integrated chat
- meet at the agreed date and place and exchange your gifts

we used this last 2022 in our team (9-12people) and it's really a good app. however, last year, i recommended it to my family (20-22people). 2 people got picked twice and 2 people didn't have a secret santa. so they didn't receive a gift. seems like there's a problem using this with much larger group. maybe make the admin see the list if everyone got their secret santa.

Thanks for the report. It should now be fixed and everyone should see their assigned partner and no one should be displayed as a partner twice. If you send me your group code or invite link to contact@wichteln.app, then I can send you a list of all the pairings of your group.

Very confusing. No documentation or even a step by step guide on how to use it, where to find the damned code, or even what it looks like. Then I was only able to cut and paste the first part of it. Finally after many attempts I was able to sign on. I will never use this program again.

This is the 2nd year I've used.Easy and does exactly what's needed via WhatsApp without fuss of emails. App developer helpful. Tip: screenshot recovery code and save for future use. Would recommend!
