This game quickly becomes boring because there's basically no strategy involved. There's tons of things to level up, including archers, heroes, castle wall etc. It's just a matter of leveling things up and then progressing to the next level. Zero strategy involved. It's hard for me to believe this was an editors choice.

I enjoy this game quite a lot, surprisingly. Though there are many inconvenient little things. One such example is the auto battle ai, if it could be customized it would definitely bring a whole new fun to the game. Maybe custom auto battle type of battles. Another thing is that, some heroes are just not viable and it kills the creativity a lot. Though I understand the last part, the game is more about damage than other strategies but still, it'd be cool to have variations.

This game could be a lot of fun, but the monetization model ruins it. Long story short, you can earn 10x the gold from the spammed "optional" 30 second ads. The game is also tuned to that level of income, you get basically nothing from completing waves when compared to the cost of everything. So, the only real way to progress is to keep watching their ads after every other wave.
