The product is accessible via the BANKILY application developed by the Banque Populaire de Mauritanie or via the USSD codes of the partner operators. The Bankily Product offers the possibility to open and manage a bank account via a mobile phone. It gives access to other features such as money transfer, payment of a merchant, payment of electricity bill, water or internet and instant recharge of the phone credit. The purpose of the product is to make the opening of a bank account accessible to all Mauritanian residents regardless of their geographic location and purchasing power.

The Bankily network consists of agent representing the Bankily brand by opening a physical point to manage the transactions of payments, withdrawals, shipments and receipts of money instantly. A Bankily branch network is created in the wilayas of the country to recruit a number of agents in the targeted geographical area.
